

Bend Oregon counselor Katie Hayden-Lewis combines her passion for working with the body-mind-soul connection with keen insight, compassion, presence and clinical expertise in transpersonal counseling to help clients navigate their way through the challenges of personal growth. She is an expert in understanding the power experiences have in shaping our lives. This knowing helps cultivate effective and meaningful counseling where clients are empowered to move and speak as the experts of their own experiences, act as healers of their own wounds and enter heart-centered authentic living. Katie holds a M.A. in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology and practices in beautiful Central Oregon.
The transpersonal counseling approach honors consciousness as it appears throughout the lifespan and integrates the world’s wisdom traditions into its’ perspective on well-being. Human growth is seen as a dynamic process that involves the individual and the collective. As a reflection of the dynamic nature of this contemporary form of psychotherapy, Katie incorporates internal systems and family systems, Jungian, somatic, psychodynamic, developmental, expressive arts and nature-based methodologies and theories into her counseling practice.
